Far til Marta var Lars L. Hyrt-Overland, (15.03.1874 - 16.12.1905 ) (Overland 62). Han var gift med Marta L. Vinje,  (1869 - 1955). (Nedre Vinje 58f). Dei budde ei tid i Ulvundsøyne. Dei hadde ein plass under Nedre Vinje. Stova deira sto der Henrik S. Hommedal no har huset sitt. Seinare vart kona husmann under det andre bruket på Nedre Vinje og flytta stova dit ho no står.

Anna (1893 - 1914 ). Overland 62a. Ho døydde ung.
Marta (1896 - 1985). Overland 62b. Ho budde i stova som vist nedanfor. På sine eldre dagar budde ho på Voss.

The 1930 US Census shows him still single and living in Lincoln Twp., Dodge County, Iowa as a lodger in the Arthur Dobel household. He is working as a farm labourer.
The SSDI gives his date of death as 1 Feb 1993 with a last residence of Manly, Worth County, Iowa.
